How Effective is 3M Sun Control Window Film

Problem

We had a major glare problem in our solarium restaurant due to the large expanse of glass on both the ceiling and walls. We needed the installation to take place in a specific timeframe to minimize the disruption to our restaurant operations. Specialized equipment was required to reach the 50’ ceiling without rearranging our furniture.

Solution

To address the glare problem, while at the same time minimizing the back reflection associated with most reflective films, 3M night Vision Film was installed on the top half of the walls and the entire ceiling over a one week period.

Results

Our local 3M Window Film Solution Provider kept us well informed through the entire process and completed the project on time with no negative surprises. The glare has been significantly reduced for both our guests and associates. Additionally the film also significantly reduced the solar heat gain making the restaurant much more comfortable. The experience with both the dealer/applicator and the 3M solution was highly positive and I would recommend their services to anyone with similar challenges.
